Grant Bowen - Principal
Grant has spent over a decade managing complex and fast paced projects for clients in the Bay Area, New York, Montana, Hawaii, and Central America. His experience and passion lies in contemporary and environmentally minded design and construction. From inception through completion Grant has the experience, creative vision, network, and resources to help turn ideas into beautiful homes, commercial spaces, landscapes, art forms, and products.
In his spare time Grant can be found snowboarding, adventuring, and making furniture with his wife.
A Michigan native, Grant earned his undergraduate degree at Brown University, where he pole vaulted on its NCAA Division I Track & Field team. Grant currently resides in Los Altos with his wife and two children.
Johnno Surdam - Senior Project Manager
Johnno has spent the last twelve years in the building industry, cultivating a passion for the built environment – specifically, merging progressive design with sustainable building practices. Johnno’s formative career with the nation’s oldest and largest builder, Turner Construction Company, set an occupational foundation, evident in his ability to lead, manage, and coordinate all phases of multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Most recently, Johnno has leveraged his background in building and sustainability to implement best practices on a unique portfolio of commercial and high-end residential projects along the east and west coasts and Hawaii.
In his free time, Johnno gets outside as much as possible – surfing, skiing, biking and spending time with friends and family.
Johnno has a MBA from Presidio Graduate School (San Francisco, CA) and a BSBA from the University of Denver.
